First Generation

I going to start with our oldest relative, Christofel HÜLS who was born between 1670-1680 in Pfalz, Bavaria now known as Germany. He died after 1757 in Schohaire, Schohaie County, New York, USA.

Information on Christofel's children came from the Early Families of Herkimer County, New York by William V.H. Barker.

Christofel married Eva Catherine Engel before 1698 in Marth, Pfalz, Bayern, Germany and had the following children:

7. Johann George Hilts abt 1711 - before 1790
8. Maria Engle Hilts abt 1714 - aft 1738
9. Adam Hilts abt 1722 - unknown
10. Maria Catherina Hilts abt 1725 - unknown.

Currently the site has information for only four of the 10 descendants: Theobald, Simon, Christofel and Johann.
